Hi Rizwan,
I am sorry I was not around; hence there is a delay in repair.
Your first question about shortness and injury relation; yes they are related if you have injured one of the growth plates during period of growth.
This growth plate injury would have arrested growth on that particular bone leading to shortness.
I am trying to visualize pathology, not necessarily this could be possibility.
The other question about rib cage, it can also be probably associated.
Have you booked appointment with orthopaedician?
What did he say?
What is the imaging being done?
Keep me informed.
Bye.

Hi Jain
Thank you for gettin back to me my injuries were mainly my lower back muscles and, ive also had knee injuries they wer not severe ones but mainly on the side of my knee bones, i play a lot of soccer and i think might be because of that, i didnt do any thing about these injuries and carried on playing over the years. ive now started to limp slightly. i dont know if its a slipped disc. i will definetely book an appointment with an orthopaedician. i dont know if this linked to my shortness of the right leg but my rib cage has moved out of place now it feels bigger and actually sticks out slightly on my left side, i get pains there too. could this be because of the shortness?

thank you

Hi Rizwan,
I think it is indeed very necessary to evaluate as to why your left side is bigger than right.
Is it a real inequality or apparent finding an orthopaedician can tell?
Imaging study of spine especially MRI study will be helpful in detecting pathology.
I think you should book an appointment with orthopaedician as early as possible.
You had mentioned about some injury, what injury are you talking about?
Where was the injury? How severe was it? What did you do about it?
Keep me informed.
I would be interested to know.
Bye.
