need help with results of an MRI

by wafa, Sep 07, 2007 10:38AM
I just got results for my cervical spine as follows
"C3-4 level, there is disc desiccation with right posterior-lateral disc protrusion and right sided uncinate spurring. the adjacent central canal is congentially small and posterior bulging of disc material  results in complete effacement of subarachnoid space at this level.there is mild right foraminal narrowing due to uncinate spur and disc protrusion."
What does all this mean? can someone help me please?

mainly bulging/ protuding discs with degenerative joint disease.  you have some congenital anomoly in the central canal (where the spinal fluid is) so the canal size is reduced,  and the canal is being further reduce by the bulging disc material.  you may need a surgery
