Hi,
How are you? Numbness just below the knee cap could be due to a variety of reasons like nerve damage, inadequate blood supply and repeated trauma. Chronic conditions in the knee or severely damaged ACL also can cause this. Has there been any history of trauma or surgery to the knee?
Nerve damage to superficial cutaneous nerve during total knee replacement is quiet common.
I would suggest that you visit a orthopedician for complete work up and further advise on treatment.
