partial sacralization

I went to the orthopedic doctor the other day because of pain that I have had in my lower back and hip. He diagnosed me with having a partial sacralization. So I wasnt making up my back pain all these years! After standing for even ten minutes I start having extreme pain. But from what I read and hear, this problem is supposed to be asymtomatic. Not for me! I cant even lay flat on my back it hurts so bad. So my question is, what do I do about this? My doctor said to exercise 6 times a week for 60 minutes, walking or riding a bike or swimming, which I plan on doing. Do you think this will help??

Hi,
Schedule an appointment with another orthopedician  for a second opinion.
Continue exercises as advised.

Hi, You better consult an orthopedician and go in for Lumbo-sacral x-ray or MRI to know the cause of your pain and discomfort, although physiotherapy will help along with local application of Volini gel and oral NSAID's, you should rule out any other problem in low back with investigations .
