hello board,
i wasn't sure where to post this but i have been having some trouble with my inner ankle now for about two months. what was originally thought to be a sprain turned into many med express visits and much pain. finally got to see a specialist today and he diagnosed me with posterior tibial tendonitis. i was given a cortisone shot to my inner ankle, and given orders to get these medical inserts for my foot to help my arch. i have flat feet.
my questions are -
has anyone else been through this?
how long was your recovery time?
after the cortisone injection did the injection site and area really puff up, and when did you notice relief?
i'm just pretty bummed out. glad i know what is ailing me now but really wish i could walk normally again, i really do not want surgery. thanks all.
