Radial-Ulnar Synostosis

Hi, ive also got limited rotation in both forearms! My left is worse than my right. My left i can only rotate from palm down to handshake position which puts strain on my elbow area, my right forearm has a little more movement but not much! I work in engineering installation which can be heavy manual handling and after work im sometimes in alot of pain! Im also a welder which requires a lot of movement continually sometimes on a daily basis. Im now 34 years old and really considering a career change with deep regret as i love the job i do, which ive trained hard to achieve!
I was wandering if surgery is a option or am i correct in saying that surgery correction should of been done at a earlier age?
also as i get older am i expected this condition to bet worse?
i get pains even when ive  een relaxing all day.
please can anyone with a professional opinion help me to clarify my enquiries.
thanks for reading....
