rehabilitation for severely broken calcaneus
To anyone- I broke my calcaneus bone- { Aug-1-08} had surgery- plate and 8 screws to repair. Have just started to put full weight on it with crutches- The swelling is severe on a daily basis and I can not seem to walk at all without the crutch or crutches-  Going to chiropracter once a week for adjustments and electric stimulation thereapy.
The Dr. that did the surgery and after treatment said its a 10-12 month injury and the swelling will start to disappear and not come back  when you walk.
At this point I am actually wondering if I will ever walk again.   Any suggestions on exercise???
