scar tissue

by Sherry283, Aug 03, 2009 07:02PM
Will scar tissue  eventually break up, or will it have to be removed over Time?  I stil have limited movement.  I can't straighten my knee completely, or bend it back very far. I'm wondering if they can go in and remove the scar tissue. My doctor said it wasn't a good ideal. Going back in would form more scar tissue. I had three surgerys last.  The knee replacement, the second surgery from a broken femur, from munipulation. The third surgery in October of 2008, due to screws breaking off, listed as faulty equipment. I just want to know if I will ever be able to walk without a cane. I still have a bad limp. My doctor told me I would have a limp. I just want to know if I can get the leg buit up enough to walk on my own.    Thanks, Sherry

The most important thing for you is physiotherapy. You will have healing with intense physiotherapy over a period of time.

Keep surgery as the last option and select a good Physiotherapist who will guide and help you with proper movements.

Take care!
