do you think i should be following this up?
the other difficulty that started at the same time as the pain is that my spine has become hypermoblie,it clinks and clunks at every turn it wasnt doing this prior to the pain could this be linked and is it of concern

Hello Dear,
Transitional vertebral bodies are a common, in which there is partial fusing of the bone of two adjacent vertebrae. It is believed that there may be a higher incidence of nerve root compression  in patients with transitional vertebrae. Spina bifida occulta   results in a small separation or gap in one or more of the vertebrae of the spine. It is most common at the caudal aspect of the spine and usually discovered accidentally on x-ray.Usually such patients are asymptomatic. The pain may be due t transitional vertebrae or  the new bone formation which may be causing nerve compression leading to pain in hips and buttocks.
