swooshing noise after injection

My shoulder has had tendonitis for 8 months. My orthopaedic surgeon injected steroid today. My first ever. As I drove home, I noticed a LOUD swooshing/squeaking sound coming from my shoulder.  It's been 8 hours now and it's still going strong. Is this weird or normal? Wish I had noticed it before I left his office!  What in the world????

I just read this to my radiology husband who's recovering from a TKR.   He says it's normal . .  that by 3 days it should be pretty much gone.  But as the Doc says above . .  have it checked out if things don't improve.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to comment on the situation. The sound could be due to the muscles/ ligaments etc. I would suggest resting the joint overnight and trying moving it gradually in the morning. If it does not seem to improve, you may consider a review with your treating orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
