what is the cure for tennis elbow

I had "tennis elbow" from baseball but i would define it as "little league elbow." Anyways, I had a sharp pain in my elbow and it would also pop and crackle and lock a lot. I went to several experts and the only option that worked for me was a microfracture surgery.

thanks sir.i had visited an ortopaedician,but even though there is no relief.plz can u suggest me some ointment for it

Pain on the outer part of elbow (lateral epicondyle). Rest is the treatment of choice when the pain first appears; the rest allows the tiny tears in the tendon attachment to heal.
1)Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs): ibuprofen, naproxen or aspirin
2)Heat or ice
3)A counter-force brace or "tennis elbow strap" to reduce strain at the elbow epicondyle, to limit pain provocation and to protect against further damage.
There is no one particular treatment as this is a nagging injury and the orthopaedician decides on case to case basis.
