spinal fusion in Feb. 2011 s1 L4 L5 he said sever SS I had a bad limp but would only limp after I walked about 200 feet then limp the rest of the day. about in May 11 I was walking again. did great no pain, then neck got to hurting. couple days later went to store.. Just started limping again. did that till Dec.11 ...Then just like night and day I was walking again. doing Zumba everything I wanted to do.... June come around low back hurt really bad. before I could get down the hall from where I worked . I was limping again..???????? did emg and it was normal. I just dont understand anyone else have this problem? never had bad bad pain before or after surgery
Well, without knowing the relevant clinical details or a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult for me to comment specifically on the situation. Continued symptoms could result from associated inflammation, further degeneration, neural compression, muscle spasm etc. I would suggest seeking a review with your treating doctor for a detailed evaluation and suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
