what is degenerative bone disease

I have been having alot of knee pain and after an xray that showed joint narrowing and an arthritis panel that showed no arthrits i had a mri done and the doc says it shows degenerative bone disease in my knees but i can't find any info on this so i don't know what it is. i don't see the doc for 2 weeks and i want to know now what is wrong with me can anyone help me out with this?

part of arthritis is joint narrowing and bone degeneration. it could be very slight thats why an xray didnt pick it up, but mri did. joint narrowin is mostly caused by arthritis. if u didnt have any treatment yet, try cortizone injection into the knee (only caution if ur diabetic, might spike ur sugar for a few days)
