why am I still.experiencing.consistent pain 2yrs after a fractured femur?

Still experiencing dull and occasional sharp pain in knee and quad area from a fractured femur 2yrs ago Just came from my surgeon in tears cause he basically called me a liar - told me wasn't normal for me to still be experiencing pain. Bone had healed so no reason for me to still hurt. I do pretty much on a daily basis, not unbearable pain but it's there - am just tired and frustrated.
