Hi,
Have you consulted a Orthopedic surgeon?
Is the lump hard or soft?movable or not? Many such things have to be examined  for correct diagnosis. There are several causes for the lump such as carpal tunnel syndrome ,osteoarthritis, tenosynovitis, ganglion cysts, fibromyalgia ,rheumatologic disease, callous formation, lymphadenopathy and many more,so you need to get yourself evaluated by a good orthopedic surgeon for treatment of the lump.
All the best.
