DEXA results- improvement?

I'm in my early 30's and have Osteoporosis.   After 1 year DEXA follow up shows my bone density imprved by +8% hips +1% spine.  Is this a significant imrpovement?  I am not on any meds.

Hi there!

8% is a significant improvement while 1% may or may not be depending on the baseline report. It would be best to discuss this with your treating doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
