Golden Staph and a Stoma

Hi There,
I take care of my young daughter who has an appendix stoma, and I do her 'flush outs' and have to put a catheter into the stoma to do this. I have been diagnosed with Golden Staph, and am really concerned that it might get passed onto to my daughter (if it hasn't already). What precautions should I take? I always wash my hands before and after washouts, and use a new catheter every time, but the washout bag I have to re-use, I clean that with detergent and water daily.... Very worried, she has two pimples next to her stoma, and a few months ago had a couple of boils that she was given antibiotics for. I am so terrified.... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
