removal peg tube

why don't the doctors put a stich in the hole when they remove the peg tube? Mine has been out for 3 weeks and still leaks really bad and it's bleeding!

often the do stitch it up...have u gone back to ur dr to have it checked..it is probably too late to stitch it now...if the hole is deep u may need to pack it with moist gauze..if it is superficial then keep it moist with some antibiotic ointment so that it wll heal faster
