I hope you all had a good time making a mess in my kitchen... Costa Rican food is really quite bland... not at all like Mexican food.  Simple food... Now I had 15 people at my home last night as it was the first night of Passover.. I had all Catholics who had never eaten any Jewish food s in their life and most speak no English.. We had a lot of fun.. When I was in Vegas 3 weeks ago I brougt back all the basics for my dinner including matzoh...

The ocean temperture for anyone who wants to go swimming is 85 degrees all year round.. I was in Guanacaste  amonth  ago at Flamingo and Coco beach and it was hot but the water is beautiful. 97 degrees up there...

We are located sandwiched between Nicaragua on top of us and Panama below us.. We are a tiny country smaller than the state of West Virginia.. We have the largest diversity of animals in the world...

I was nauseous for over a year before I actually did anything. I lost about 50 pounds. I also had weird periods (offf and on, then missing, really heavy, and then light but lasting a month). I thought it was all just stress. Towards the end (just before I ended up in ER) I was throwing up and almost passed out. That's actually what sent me to ER. That's when they found the tumor. I spent last Christmas in the hospital(it sucked!!!!). Oh ya, I was EXTREMELY tired all the time. I used to come home from work and go directly to bed. This sounds an awful lot like you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to get some help soon, girl!!!!!!!

I keep hoping that I will have results like you.... all clear, benign....thats the answer I want but I worry about how long I should wait. I keep reading about how iimportant it is to catch it early and here I sit and wait. Just gets very frustrating you know?

I was supposed to go out, tonight, with my hubby and friends for my b-day (that's what I meant earlier). I did, however go to brunch, with my son, today, and then we went shopping for a new bed for him. That was fun, but by the time I got back, I was hurtin' and just really didn't want to go out tonight. Yesterday, I just worked. However, they had a cake for me and I got cards, and a customer brought me flowers. Yep, I had a good B-day!!!!

Oh, honey, don't think the heck with it all. If Dr. Goodman said you need surgery....I think you do. Of course you're worried. How could you not be????? What do you mean it's not going to happen to me? The surgery or cancer?

I'm glad you are on the forum. I think you are a fun, great, helping buddy for the forum. You give a lot of encouragement. That's why I still hang around....Everybody was there for me when I was so scared...I figure if I can help just one person cope a little better with this situation I'll have done a tiny thing to repay what everyone did for me. I couldn't believe how happy everyone was for me when I got the "benign news". It was wonderful. On top of it all, many invited me to still stay on the forum. I've made some really great friends....some, of which, I believe may very well be life-long friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh...well, I actually felt pretty good up until a few weeks ago. Which makes me worry more. I now am kinda nauseous alot and I have been having more pain in my pelvic region, Im constipated for the last two weeks and Im like...Oh God, I dont' want to have this damn disease, but I almost feel like Im getting sick. Im tired all the time now and just worry. That could actually be the reason for all these symptoms as stress wreaks havoc on the body. Im kinda pissed off that Dr Goodmans office hasn't called me back after a month when they said they would. I just don't know if she is back yet or what.
I worry about waiting and waiting, especially after reading some of these posts saying...DONT wait and don't let them put you off.... so here I am again...waiting. It is just getting frustrating...

Oh, I see. Now, I understand. Nothing is more frustrating than not getting the attention you need and deserve. I've heard a ton about how good Dr. Goodman is. Any idea on when she'll be back? Are you absolutely set on having her do the surgery? What if she isn't back for awhile? You would think she would HAVE to be....ALL her patients have to be wondering where she is. What is she doing in Bangledesh? You're right - waiting sucks!!!!

I had to wait two months for surgery because I was too weak to operate on and my doc wouldn't do it 'til my numbers (iron, electrolytes....etc....) all got back to where it needed to be. That was hard 'cause I wasn't feeling well, at all, and getting healthy when you feel like **** is NOT an easy thing to do. I pretty much did it, though.

How do you feel, health-wise? I mean, do you FEEL sick?

The funny thing is that Im not too much of a worrier....but I know deep down I am worried. I talk myself in an out of things daily....lol. One minute I think, the hell with all this, just move on and see what happens, but then in the next breath, I think there is a reason I got to this forum and that maybe its more than I give it crecit for. Although, I don't want to give into anything...cuz you know the old saying, it's not going to happen to me

Oh I don't know. I do think I have fallen through the cracks...My original ob/gyn can't make up her mind as to what to do....then I got a second opinion who said all my pain was from my mattress which completely horrified me and then I saw Dr Goodman (who I absolutely loved, and she went to Bangledesh....go figure... So here I am waiting again...really kinda sucks

I'm right around your age....Turned 46 yesterday. I don't mind my forties. Kind of like 'em. They are better than the 20's....to much uncertainty at that age, and you really don't know a lot. (sorry Frannie, if you read this ,later - you're the exception to the rule).
