My CA 125 is 57 and the norm is 35

I would like to post my conecern for over a year I was dignose with endometriosis  . My marker was 80 then after laparoscopy it went down to 50  aboute it is almost 9 month and it does not want to go lower . WHY WHY ?????
MRI was fine they did not find endometriosis   so why it is in 50s  not 35  . Is something wrong with me ????? or I have a cancer which i dont know   please help me I'm so worried .  Maggie

It could just be the at the CA125 isn't a good diagnostic for you.  Mine has been around 900 for awhile, but I've done practically every test to look for cancer cells and they've all been negative.  What are your doctors telling you?

  Well they say it is enometriosis but logically the marker should go down eventually and it is in there 50 all the time   dont know why  though it does not grow  maybe it is just me .  MRI was fine , all dopplers are fine   my ob and morphology is good so dont know anymore i'm lost   .  One of my ovaries were larger because of the enometriosis found in the right ovary so they took it of  and i just have a little tiny one and the left one . I have as well PCOS .

Did you do other test then CA 125  ?  IT is CA 72-4 it is  to detact cancer cell  i think
I did it and i have 0.79   and max is 6.90   so ask your doctor to make this CA not CA 125  other one    best regards Mag

It sounds like your normal may be 50.  I know that women who haven't gone through menopause tend to have higher CA-125 levels, and ones that fluctuate a bit more.

  Maybe i dont know but I have huge 2 stones in gallblodder from those horman treatments over the past few years : b control pills , luteine, parlodel  and so on   can this be a problem because of the stones too ????  Well yesturday i had my MRI of the stomach lets see what they say if enometriosis is there . thank you for your replay .Maggie
