? regarding ultrasound

by terrier, Sep 30, 2004 12:00AM
I had an ultrasound and it read bilateral hypoechoic ovarian nodules.  Given the patients history of endometriosis these likely represent endometriomas, although other etiologies including hemorrhagic ovarian cysts could give this appearance and right ovary is large.

How do you know if it could be cancer.

Thanks.
