I am 46 and premenapausual. My annual papPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer smear came back AtypicalAtypical pneumonia Glandular Cells of Unknown Signifiance. A colposocpy, endometrial biosy and endocervical curetting were all negative. A transvaginalTransvaginal ultrasound ultrasound was performed and the right ovary was not able to be viewed due to fluid. Thickening of the uterus was also mentioned. My doctor has recommended a TAH be performed ASAP. I am going to get a 2nd opinion and would like to know if in this situation would it be overreacting to get that opinion from a OB/GYN Oncologist.
