8cm complex ovarian mass

by luv2laf, Jan 16, 2004 12:00AM
Thank you for taking time for my question.I am 45yrs old 15 years post hysterectomy for uterine cancer.Encapsulated no other treatment was required. I have been having pain on left side that radiated to left buttocks, nausea, bowel problems and frequent urination for 6+ months. 4mos ago Dr. prescribed meds for IBS. Pain persisted and 3months ago US was done. An 8cm complex mass on left ovary was found. It contained thin septations and no flow was detected. CA125 - 9: WBC low 3.1: and RBC low also. 2 mos ago FU US showed mass gone. Pain decreased but never completely gone. Pain is intensifying again as well as all other symptoms with the addition of unusual gassiness. My question is can a Complex cyst dissapear and then come back again in such a short time?
