A peaceful Christmas to all.

It's becoming busy here now, with only 3 more sleeps until Christmas, :-)  so I just want to wish each and everyone of you wonderful folks, a peaceful and lovely Christmas.  It's hard to say Merry or Happy these days, as most of us are going through some type of personal concerns, be it chemo and the side affects, surgery or  pain, but I hope and pray that you are all able to get some enjoyment out of the day...being with those closest to you... your loved ones, and hopefully you are all pain free, and not nauseous. I'm wishing and hoping for a good news for all of us in '08... with lots of low CA.125s, clear scans, and successful surgeries.
Best wishes and lots of Christmas hugs to all....Helen...

Thanks, Helen, and everyone for your holiday wishes and all of the support and enlightenment you've provided. You've all been in my thoughts. I'm currently in Taiwan visiting my mother, passing on your inspiring stories of strength and bravery. Peace.

I also wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and pain free New Year. And to all of you who are on chemo, I hope that you feel well enough to enjoy the day. Thankfully this year even though I am still on chemo, I was recently switched to Topotecan, which has proved to be easily tolerated for me. (I am so glad too as I am having a treatment on Christmas Eve morning!) May we all be blessed in the new year. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  LOL Chris

Isn't if funny how our wishes for the new year have changed from wanting a new job, bigger house, better boss, etc to clear scans and low CA125's.  Having this monster certainly puts things in perspective.  I hope each and everyone of you have a Christmas day that is free from pain, nausea and worry.  Merry Christmas to those that celebrate and joys of the season to those that don't.
Love and Hugs,
Jan

Right back at you! My nausea is just ending, my CA 125 is normal for the first time ever, and I found out yesterday I have no BRCA mutation, so your wishes and prayers are already working. I'm planning to add a clear PET/CT next week to all that good news.  Have fun celebrating the day before most of the rest of us! Paula
