A story of hope

I am offering ovarian cancer patients my mother's story of healing from ovarian cancer. She was 92, stage 4, and given a short time to live by her gynecological oncologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Six months later he was calling her "MY MIRACLE". I have posted her story, and another useful article at www.seniorark.com.( Non profit, no ads) Click on "At 92 she..." in the right column. After you read her story, go back to the home page and click on the link that begins "Cancer?..." in the left hand column. It may be the most hope you will feel with your disease. Best Wishes, Bob

I read somewhere that supplements alone may not be as effective as dard grape juice or red wine (especially from muskatine grapes). There may be another substance in the juice and wine that work in concert with the resveratrol to kill cancer cells. I think I personally would take a supplement, but would definely drink the grape juice as well.

This gave me great hope and we are ordering some Reservatrol from HSN made by Andrew Lessman!  I can't wait to try it, dark grapes and juice!  The vitamins have equivalent to 165,000 glasses of wine.  Thank you so much to steering me to this hopeful article.  I pray for a miracle like this!  Can't hurt!

Hi - I posted these questions to your prior post, but I guess you didn't see them.  Hope you can take a moment to answer...  They are relevant to someone I know.   - Cheri

Hi,
As ravenlady said we've all been enjoying your mom's success since someone posted it last week! I do have a couple questions if you don't mind...

My mom has a close friend in her early 70's with colon cancer that's now liver and pancreous (I don't know if it's the same type or different types). She was doing well with chemo, but it's not working well for her anymore and the better choice chemo that was working started having complications. She's a real close risk.

Did the grape juice in the studies apply to a wide range of ages or much older only?

I looked through a couple of the studies and they indicated that grape juice doesn't have nearly any concentration of the resverol (? - chemical that's working) to be of any use, and so wine or pills were the only option. Did you find something to indicate that the grape juice did?

Was the success you saw in the research specific to ovarian cancers?

Thanks!
Cheri
