ADNEXL CYST?

Hi I just had a ct scan done and looking for info on adnexal cyst.

CT SCAN STATES:
2 CM ADNEXAL RIGHT PELVIS CYST

ok is does this mean that itz in the pelvis or is it talking
about the ovaries? I know when i try to look it up it takes
me to ovarian. Not understanding this at all..
please help.

Hello cysters,

Adnexal means next to the uterus. An adnexal mass is usually found in the ovaries or fallopian tubes. So, your doctor could also refer to an ovarian cyst as an adnexal cyst. Hope that helps.
