ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS?

Hi girls!  Forgot to let everyone know, I actually had to have my incision "re-cut" 2 days ago(had a laparotomy)  I thought I had an infection at one end of it.  Turns out it was dead tissue that healed inside of new tissue(or something gross like that!) My dr. had to cut me(1/2in. or so) and remove the dead tissue.  Then she had to leave the cut open and I had to pack it with gauze....what a nightmare!  Thank God it was only for 2 days!  She says it's healing well, I don't have to pack it anymore, just leave it covered until it closes...crazy! Actually, it hurt less when she cut it then it did before she cut.  All is well now, I just thought I'd share that weird bit of info! As always I hope everyone is doing well:)

Hey...I just re-read what I wrote....that didn't come out right....oh my god....I can't stop laughing, but, I have to admit, I am red with embarassment!

What I meant was that you are one day closer to the end of this journey of pain and healing...you are closer to victory!
I think I just better shut-up....you know what I meant; I hope!
Think I'll just go back to the kitchen where I belong...it's safer. HA!

Oh dian that was a good chuckle.  I shared it with my husband, who always wonders what I amso enthrawled with here onthe forum.  He laughed too.  So, thank you, and  now I will sleep better. tee hee
