Adnexal mass

I had an US on Tues due to left lower abdominal pain. I am post hysterectomy & right oophorectomy(surgery was March 2003) I had this done due to fibroids & ovarian cysts on right ovary. The impression from my US says- Within left adnexa, there is a complex hypoechoic septated lesion measuring 5.7 x 3.6 cm.It says it is a complex cystic structure within the left adnexa that is 5.7 x 3.6 x 2.9. This demonstrates thick septations as well as internal echoes. Should I be concerned about cancer? I am 46 yrs old.
