Anyone involved in vaccine study?

I just completed my 6 treatment cycles (2 IV and 4 IP) and have responded well to therapy.  I met with my doctor today and the next steps are CT and repeat CA125 in 6 weeks...then my IP port can come out.  He mentioned the MIMOSA study...wihich is the investigational vaccine study. It's not available at my gyn/onc's institution, but I am able to travel to NYC if necessary.  My question is whether anyone out there is currenlty involved and/or knows someone who is.  I'm not sure what to think.......of course we all want very long remissions, but unfortunately there are no guarantees.

it takes pioneers to find the way first, I say if it does no harm and has a chance to stop this damn disease in it's tracks, it is worth the effort. You seem to meet the criteria for it, so many won't because they have had too many chemos all ready. If you decide to do it be sure to keep us posted and we can all hope that it works as they say it might.  Marty

I have a friend trying to get in to a study done in Buffalo but she's not there yet. What I've read about it, it sounds very interesting and promising.
