Anyone with answers here?

I wrote before here about someone having paritneal (sp?) cancer etc...  But I was wondering what would be the reason for someone to keep needing transfusions?  I read where it could be from the chemo's or because of the disease being so advanced.  This is the 4th different chemo they are trying.  So would this be more from the different chemo's or more because of the disease being advanced?  This is a stage 4 cancer and no treatments seem to be doing much.  They keep trying different ones and the ca125 is usually well over 1000.  What is the outlook for someone like this?
