I have been fighting ovarian cancer since '94 with a 12 year remission until 2006. It metastized to my lymph nodes and I was initially treated w/Cisplatin, Ectopiside, and Bleomyicin successfully. In 2009, I was again put on Cisplatin and Ectopiside. My white cell count dropped to .5, uncontrollable vomiting and diarhea all put me in the hospital for two weeks. They gave me several transfusions and tests and found another tumor on my lymph nodes. I was released and after 8 wks w/o chemo, they started me back on the same regime. My white cell count again plummited to .3. No hospital but they stopped that chemo via my port since then. I'm currently taking Arimidex. My neuropathy, joints, and pelvic pain have worsened. In fact it feels like nails r being hammered thru my finger nails! I want to know if there is any success w/using Arimidex for ovarian cancer, when it was primarily used for breast cancer. Thank u in advance for ur response.
One thing I found really hilarious was that my diazepam (valium) had written on the back 'may cause anxiety' work that one out!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for all that info. I just copied and pasted everything that was there on the subject; seems like the solutions are worse than the problems:)

Thank you!
