Avastin & Gemzar

I saw one post (I think by Jatoo) who said his wife had just one treatment of Avastin & Gemzar and her CA-125 levels went down (and more). Wondering if anyone else has had this combination and if so how it worked for you. Also interested in any suggestions on it. Mom is IIIC and plat. resistant.

I think it is in clinical trials. If you research that you should come up with the places that they are doing it. I believe MD Anderson is one. Avastan is a very expensive drug so I think there may be trouble with some on getting their insurance to pay for it.
