Avastin

Has anyone had good results with Avastin and gemzar in shrinking tumors

I am sure everyone has different results from avastin like any other chemo, but after my 5th treatment of it I got a perforated collen(sp) emergency surgery etc.  I obviously survived but after 2 months of remission my cancer was back.  Of course I can no longer have avastin so now on a new course of chemo.  Dont let my experience scare you off I was stage 3c with a ca-125 level of over 5000 when i started now my cancer is only in the lympth nodes that they could not take out during surgery so the avastin did do some good lol.  this is not typical though its just a possible side effect.  Good luck to you in what ever course you choose
