Avistan

Does anyone know if Avistan is approved in Canada? I see they are doing phase 2 trials for ovarian carcinosarcoma in the states. Could I get it off label?

I am not sure what you mean by "off label", however, there is a study in the US that is introducing the drug Avastin (it's actually under the clinical name) to the chemo protocol. The study my Mom is starting is GOG 218. The paperwork shows that the study is open in Canada - Edmond Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook, Ontario, M4N 3M5, Canada. 416.480.4026

This is the only thing I know about since my Mom is going to participate in the study.
