B-12 Injections

B-12 Injections

I know I have seen a question posted in the past about B-12 injections, but forgive me for not searching back for it.  Have any of you going through chemo been given injections, and if so, did they make a big difference?  I am one week back into chemo for my first recurrance, and although I remember being tired, I don't remember being so tired that taking 5 steps gets me winded.  It's been more than a year for me, so both my GYN/ONC, and my ONC both recommended taxol/carbo again.  At this rate, I'll have to catch my breath just to get out of bed.

Thanks,
Gail

I don't know about B12, however, what was you red blood cell count?  Did you have surgery or go right into the chemo?  I remember the first carbo and taxol, 3 days after the treatment all the blood left my head and I went home to the couch for the weekend.  Monday I was better and it gradually improved.  If you are really short of breath, call the office and let them know.  Recurrences are a bummer, I am in my first.
