Back to my original name

H girls, I've had the worst time trying to get into the forum.  I used to be known as newlifegal, then it got changed to Christa54.  So I'm back to newlifegal; hope nobody gets too confused!

Helen, I don't meet with him again until next month.  For the time being we are going to watch and wait.  I have a brain MRI scheduled for the 19th.

I'm currently on Topocetan for my ovarian recurrence.   My last treatment made me pretty sick with lots of lower GI spasms ad diarrhea.  But it only lasted for a day.  Since my numbers aren't reliable, I really don't know where I stand with this but I am hopeful.

I think it's wonderful that your numbers are responding, keep up the good work!

Christa

Hi Christa,
I like the name newlifegal anyway. How did your visit go with the neurosurgeon. I was away for awhile so maybe you posted. I just did chemo yesterday. I'm on Carbo/Taxotere and after two treatments my counts went down from 600 something to 485. So I'm not poisoning myself for nothing. Thank God. I would like to see them go down faster but know it's very different with recurrent disease.

I hope your visit was very hopeful... I'm praying.

Helen
