Biopsy performed due to information in MRI

Biopsy performed due to information in MRI

I had a MRI performed yesterday.  About 2 hours later my doctor called me and told me that I needed to come to see him as soon as possible yesterday afternoon for a biopsy.  I went in and my doctor told me that the MRI showed a colored area and that the radiologist was worried, but he asked if I had ever had any c-sections and my doctor told him yes I had.  The radiologist then said he felt better about the MRI then.  Well anyway, they performed a biopsy of my uterus.  I have to wait till next week for the results.  I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that this could just be the scar tissue.  My doctor told me not to worry about it, cuz he thinks it's just the scar tissue himself.  I pray to God that it is.  If anyone has any similar situations or might know the way scar tissue shows up on a MRI, please let me know.  Thanks.

Hi there....
I am not sure how scar tissue would show up on an MRI, but I just wanted to say you are in the right forum. One of these ladies will answer your question. I have however, had a uterine biopsy... ouch...lol. I will keep you in my prayers....

I am not sure how scar tissue shows up on an MRI either, but I do know that it shows up in a CT scan. So I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is all it turns out to be.
