Bleeding after Menopause

My sister went through menopause several years ago, but has been having some bleeding for the last couple of days.  Does anyone know what could cause this?  She has fibroids but was told they would shrink after menopause and not be a problem.  Anybody else experience this?

She should see her doctor just to be sure her bleeding is normal.  I know a number of women, many of them in my family, who thought they were "menopausal" but were actually just perimenopausal.   One poor neighbor conceived a child about two years after what she thought was her last period!!   Fluctuating hormones as well as hormone replacement therapy can cause bleeding.  More serious conditions can also cause bleeding, so it is best to check with the doctor.
