Borderline ovarian cyst

by Swati, Feb 18, 2004 12:00AM
Hi,
I was diagnosed with a ovarian cyst in my first month of pregnancy. Since the cyst was huge, it was surgically removed in the fourth month of pregnancy.
However, when the cyst was sent for evaluation it was diagnoised as a borderline cyst. Since the cyst has now been removed, my doctor says that i may not need to do anything further....but are there chances of any other complications? Doi need to take chemotherapy? Are borderline cases comman- or are they treated more as malignant or more as benign?
Pls advice
Thxs
