Anyone heard from her?  I hope and pray that she is enjoying being a newlywed and her health has stablized........

The last update I got on her was on Facebook on December 22.  It is from someone I assume is a close friend or family member.  Here's what it said:

We are so thankful Deandra is feeling better compared to the last 2 months. Since the surgery she had experienced so much nausea. She adjusted her meds and gets nutrition nightly through her port. We are grateful for the huge improvement she is feeling.

Deandra Luke & George are back home now after a brief stay with Norma and I. Thanks to Luke, his family and friends for all the work they did in giving their townhome a fresh new look.

She is receiving Doxil (chemo) and our prayer is that it helps shrink her tumors and does not give her the bad side effects she experienced before. She was disappointed with her CA125 climbing to 1200 but we believe that the number will go downwards with the stronger dose and the help of all your prayers.

They are planning a holiday trip to New York to see the beautiful lights and have some quality time with each other. Please keep her in your prayers so that she enjoys her trip and is able to get stronger each day.
