Midway and I have been taalking.....what a whiz she is!  We have our own chat room.....yup....we do!

Hi Everyone. I am off to bed. Exhausted. So, I will have to figure this out tomorrow when I get home from work. I am wondering if I will have to download MSN software. Sounds wonderful, though, doesn't it? I was thinking it would be fun to have something like this...but, so far I was only coming up with the idea of a get-together...say, like in an Ocean side resort! This is more "do-able"....see you all later. Great idea. I will holler if I need help figuring it all out. I seem to know about only hormones and adhesions lately :)

I registered and am ready to lose.  Hey Dawn, I do mammograms and I recommend asking for a mammopad.  It is a cushion that takes the pressure off of the squeeze but you will still have the pull sensation at your chest wall.

I would say that they will do an u/s just to make sure the solid vs cystic part of it.  The only way they would not do the u/s is if it looks "scary" enough to go ahead and recommend a biopsy it.  The good part is that youobviously stay on top of your breast exams and this is something new.  As far as the mammopads go , alot of techs just do not want to take the time and use it.  I use them on everybody-if the discomfort is decreased then the patient usually cooperates more and allows more compression which is necessary to see thru the tissues.
