CA125 marker results

My mother is already receiving chemotherapy for right ovarian cancer stage IIIC after a surgery with ovarian remove. After every chemotherapy sesion her blood is submitted a CA125 test and the results has been 1125 (before of surgery), 114 before firts sesion, 65, 24 and 12 before second, third and fourth sesions respectively, which is very good for his oncologist and he say that she is healthy again and the cancer practically disappear. She only needs the last session of chemo' However, she feels a hard abdominal pain with distention and a big inflamation (inflammation). She has a gastric ulcer 4 years ago and she was submitted at an endoscopy with similar results: chronic gastritis, but no more. It´s possible that the CA125 results not being showing the real cancer state? What other tests could she makes to assure tha the cancer gone?
