CONFUSED????????

i have had problems with ovarian cysts for about 3 yrs now i am 22. my grandma died of ovarian cancer! i have had complex cysts, hem. cyst/ovaries, and adhesions, plus my bowel has been stuck to my uterus!! I have gained alot of weight since I had these problems and do not know how to get rid of it. Plus, I get cyst every month or so that grow to be 5cm or bigger that rupture I guess! I am so confused why I can't loose wieght and how I can stop the pain. I take percocet but my doctor only gives it to me when I have a bad cysts, I guess? Please Helpm with any info or ask questions because I am sure I did not answer or explan some things !

I don't think that you are confused.  You seem to have at least a general understanding of your conditions and family history; what you seem to be lacking is proper medical assistance to control your conditions.   I think that perhaps you need a new doctor.  Have you been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovaries)?  I ask because that is the first impression that I get from reading your symptoms.   If so, there is a PCOS website with a forum and those ladies might be of more assistance.

BUT I AM A BIT CONFUSED I GUESS I DO NEED A NEW DOCTOR BUT I AM CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT TO DO HOW TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT OR WHY I AM GAINING THIS WEIGHT?? hAS ANYONE HAD THESE PROBLEMS?? IF SO WHAT DID U DO?
