CT & tracked ovarian cyst but it grew-HELP!

I had a CT Friday as part of tracking this 3.2 cyst. Now its grown to 5.3 and have a pelvic sonogram Monday. Will the sonogram give me some idea if this might be cancer? Im supposed to go for some liposuction Tues. This has all come down so closely to my lipo surgery and I am confused whether to proceed with the surgery. HELP! Ill need some info that its ok before I go for a voluntary lipo.

Thanks for this update. Going tomo for a pelvic sonogram. I had a trans vag sono in Sept and nothing showed. Im thinking this is a regular cyst if it grew that much in several months. I will surely follow up on this though.

Many times cysts are benign. They will be able to tell more with the sonogram. It is always scary when they see something on a CT Scan. I had a CT Scan this month and they thought they saw a tumor in my breast. They did a bunch of mammograms. Then they did ultrasound. It was a healthy lymph node. They might have to go in but that does not 100% mean it is cancer. Sometimes they just can't tell. I had a friend last month who they thought the cyst was cancer they got in there and it was benign. They have to err on the side of caution because they miss female cancers. It is scary not knowing.

I should also add that I am post menopausal and have no symptoms at all.
