I had a CT Scan done 1 1/2 years ago, was called immediately and told I was to see ob/gyn. The ob/gyn said report mentioned mass "highly suspicious for malignancyHyperpigmentation w/malignancy Malignancy". She was certain it was only adenomyosis and did hyst, leaving ovaries in. She also said she was surprised that uterus didn't look worse, considering ct report.
A year later, having pains that have been waking me from sleep, I was seen again and surgery to remove ovaries was recommended by headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury of dept, but wants to have the ob/gyn perform it again, but to make sure the head of dept is also available, because she said she has some serious questions for her.
Before doing surgery, ob/gyn suggested ultrasound...which found several cystic masses and radiologist said they were surprised that left side wasn't painful...when they did the right side, had trouble finding it again and used doppler, which looked like a large blue area. The radiologist has suggested to follow up soon and I have an appt mid Sept. What I'm curious about is, could what was seen in ct scan (dr admitted she never did see the scan itself) and the mass noted on ovary during surgery, be the same thing that's on ultrasound now? I appreciate it...thank you.
