Can a cyst cause periods to stop?

Does anyone know if an ovarian cyst or tumor can make your periods stop?  Also, is it normal to bleed after your pap smear?
Thanks for the help.

A granulosa cell tumour that excretes inhibin will stop the menstrul cycle.  Removal of the tumour will immediately restore the cycle.  You can have a blood test to determine levels of inhibin.
Re the Pap Smear, it would depend on the amount of blood lost.  Have it checked out with your doctor.
