Can birth control pills shrink ovary cyst?

I have two 2.6 cm cysts on each side grown from 1.8 cm since 8 months ago. My OBGYN put me on YASMIN 28 for 3 month. I've been taking it for a month. Now the pain is getting much worse, plus bloating, gas and I look 3 month pragnent. My face and hands are swollen and I feel tired all the time, could not sleep well. Will the birth controll plls shrink cysts? should I concerned with ovarian ca? I have CIN 1 and HPV effect. The doc toldme to take pain killer for pain. I want to know what's going on. Should I go see a diff doc? Please help... Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I went back to the same OBGYN again yesterday. Due to my worsened symptoms, she had me stopped taking birth control pills, and told me that if I would get pregnant, it'll get ride of the cysts. Otherwise, she wants to perform the surgery and remove the cysts. I am 40 and never got pregnant before. Would you say that it's a good idea to get pregnant given my conditions? Thanks!!!
