Cat Scan results

Hi. My name is Katie. My mother went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago to have a cat scan done. She got a call from her doctor this afternoon, and he told her there was fluid found in pelvic region(around her ovaries) and that she should go in to see her OBGYN asap. I'm driving myself crazy trying to think of what all it could be.  She goes to see her OBGYN later this week, but I can't wait that long. Please help.
