I cannot take compazine either. It works fine for some, but not me. It didn't help the nausea and it seemed to make me drowsy. I also had a jittery edgy feeling with it. If it causes trouble there are many others to try. The first time I was on chemo the zofran seemed worthless. This last time I was on chemo the zofran helped alot, especially the meltaway tabs of it. Hi Lillian,
I noticed that your mom will be getting Compazine for nausea. I just wanted to give you a little heads up on that drug. I took it while I was getting my first infusions and it gave me a terrible jittery feeling. I kept taking it thinking it was the chemo, but it was not, it was the Compazine. Finally I called the chemo nurse and she suggested a different drug which was much better for me. This may not be a side effect that your mom gets but I did want you to be aware of it. I waited too long to switch meds because I didn't know, and I suffered longer than I needed to.

I will thinking about her when I doing my Taiji exercise tomorrow. Hope she will receive more energy from me.
