Chemotherapy Options

by Love Her So, Jun 08, 2003 12:00AM
My wife was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at the age of 52. She does have the BRACA 2 gene. She has had both ovaries removed and has gone through 4 recurring bouts of Chemotherapy (Taxol & Carboplatim). Since her CA125 level has again increased to 124 her oncologist has given her another option of Chemotherapy, Etoposide capsules  50mg, since the Taxol & Carb. is no longer effective. How many more options are still available, if Etoposide does not put her in remission.   Thank you
